    Cant release as of yet seeing as im on holiday. It will be done by the monday coming, everything is implemented apart from colour collision so you can create your own maps without any hassle of a tile system. That is all.

  • Side project - Pixel tag

    Made a little game last night and have decided to call it pixel tag. One of them playground games where someone is 'it'. Anyway, its almost finished just going to implement a tile system and then the alpha should be ready for release.

    In the beta I will try and add adhoc.

    I have implemented battling but wasn't sure which battle style I should go with. So until I decide I thought I should take it out.

    Anyway, I know you wont enjoy the release but more is coming :)

  • I've kept you guys waiting for too long

    Im going to upload my current progress on PSPOKEBATTLE. Bare in mind that it has gone through three complete rewrites and is due for another one pretty soon. For this little demo I have removed battling. There will be a battling demo released shortly, and when I say shortly I mean within the weekend (hopefully). Anyway, enough chit chat, the link will be up within the hour.

  • Been a while since I have been on and here's why

    Ok guys, sorry for not writing in for months. Over this time I decided to create a moonlander clone. It was half finished with colour collision (meaning you could draw your own maps) but then another developer released a more advanced complete version, so I had no choice but to cancel it. If anyone is interested I would still continue with it.

    Anyway, I have got help from a prolific developer with my pokemon game but I am also busy on another project for the moment. However, tis project is quite small and im working on it to get another release under my belt before continuing with pokemon.

    Due to the fact that I have had only one opinion I have decided to do pokemon stadium style gameplay. Should be easier in the long run. Well I hope I haven't bored you for too long, you can expect the games release at any time, I am entering both into a competition. The deadline is June.

    Basically the project is still alive, don't give up hope :)

    I need a bit more publicity for this game. Unfortunately i am fast losing motivation. Anybody who reguarly checks this page tell your friends. Or even leave a comment ...

  • Yay another setback

    Just as the tile engine was up and running, after a quick test on my psp. i see that it is wasting far too much memory and is lagging. So i have decided to drop the tile engine. Thats a good few hours wasted. Im thinking of taking a break from this project. I couldnt create the cartmans authoritah clone because the author hasnt given me access to its resources so i cannot proceed. I have decided to make a simple platformer that at the moment will involve animation. It is based on a flash game which i will link you to soon.

  • Back on track

    Im happy to say that the project is back. Thanks to sony_psp_player. He has given me infomation on tile engines. And i have developed a better pokemon system where you put all of the pokemon in an array and load them from a spite sheet in different numbers. This would mean adding custom pokemon :)

    Basically things are good again and i hope to implement the tile sheet and pokemon list soon.

    Ok, here's an update. I have changed the battle system completely. The lower screenshot is now how you make your preparations for battle.

    I have hit a wall in development. Because i am hard coding the whole game the code is becoming too much to handle and very messy.

    I need an experienced coder to work with me on creating a simpler way to code this game. In a while I will release an alpha version of the game. In the alpha version there will be the introduction with a certain professor ;) and a quick tutorial and battle.

    I hope someone will step up and help because i really want to see this project right through to the end.

    As a side note i would like to say i have another project i am thinking about starting, along with PSpokebattle.

    It is a clone of the popular game, Cartmans Authoritah. If a competent coder cannot contact me i will have to change projects and keep PSpokebattle on the back burner.
